Medical: Cardiology
I am translating a report from one physician to another.
The sentence using this acronym (which I know is in the Glossary) is in this sentence.
" Ce patient de 88ans, en bon état général pour l'âge a pour antécédents cardiologique un RAC serré en avril 2013
avec une FEVG à 50%, associé à des légions coronaires."
I know RAC is severe aortic valve stenosis, but what is the acronym in English?
I have also found it defined as "rétrécissement aortique calcifié" elsewhere on the web but I don't know the acronym in english for that either.
Thanks in advance
Jessie

I appreciate your comment, but there are 32 acronyms in this letter and it would appear odd to have this one spelled out, although I may have to.
