aunque no tenía experiencia para saber si su sugerencia era sabia o no, concurrió con ella
es una explicación más de una traducción: el chico era inexperimentado y en el caso de que la sugerencia de los demás fuera perjudicial, él no era capaz de juzgar; por eso concurrió pero con un cierto grado de riesgo ... eso significa que el chico resultó vulnerable al efecto perjudicial eventual de la sugerencia.
