Glossary entry (derived from question below)
German term
Ummauerung
Results of CT scan for lymphoma.
Also Ummauerung der Pfortader ... Die Nierengfäße werden vollständig ummauert.
Language is German. Target audience US English speakers.
At the moment, I'm thinking ummauering is inflitration ... or encapsulation. But looking up the reverse definition ... english-German I come up with abkapseln, infiltration, einlagern or einlagerungen, but not infiltration ... any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thanks much ... but I went with encasement in the lymphoma context. I'll save your references however. Cheers, Taryn |

Thanks much for the answer and references. I went with encasement rather than perivascular cuffing because it could be understood by both doctors and laypeople. Is there a way to include your answer as well for more technical documents? Thanks and best regards, Taryn |
