...and consistent with your tools.

I see "consistent", as in "consistent" with the means (tools) you have at your disposal.

and have/establish smooth interplay between the tools at your disposal

Hello,

This is how I would say it.

You need to read it like this: mise en relation évidente + mise en cohérence des vos outils

You need to establish a real relationship with your clients as well as ensure smooth interplay with the tools at your disposal (your means to attract and do business with clients all work well together),

mise en cohérence de = put into harmony with = coincide with each other (tools)

I hope this helps.

in line with

I think the French text is overreaching a bit in its attempt to use fancy-sonuding language; the idea seems to me that companies must build new relationships and channels of communication with their customers in order to engage them in their brand, notably through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, which require them to constantly respond to and interact with online consumers (you can't tweet back or like a post or respond to a complaint later - it has to be now :-)

So, "in line with" your communication/media tools simply means with one's social media and other platforms.
Example sentence:

You need to be constantly available and cultivate clear and uninterrupted channels of communication in line with your media tools.

You need to be constantly available - anywhere, any time - and cultivate a clear and uninterrupted dialogue in line with your communication tools.
