con lo de "empowerment" no se trata de dar "poder" a la persona (hacerla como Superman) sino de activar su propia capacidad de actuar... es más bien una fe "facilitadora" o "potenciadora" de la capacidad humana

El Dicccionario de Dudas y Dificultades de las Academias de la Lengua ya recoge el uso de "empoderar, empoderador" como traducción correcta de "empowerment, empowering". Además, se trata de un verbo (y derivados) documentado en el castellano antiguo.
