Creo que sería necesario tener más contexto, para ver el estilo. Ésta es una opción. Puede haber otras, como las ya propuestas o "bella como un pájaro".
Creo que habría que mantener la palabra "bird" --no es una expresión habitual, de modo que por algo está-- aunque a veces en castellano suena mejor cambiando un poco la sintaxis...
