: I think this is certainly expressing the right idea, insofar as we can use technical logic to guess at the writer's original intention.

Je pense qu'ici "for the sake of" indique le souci de tenir compte de quelque chose. For the sake of est fréquemment traduit par "dans un souci de", mais ici cela ne peut fonctionner. Pour garder l'idée de l'origine de la contrainte, on peut proposer "en raison de", ou "compte tenu de"...

Discussion
"For the sake of..." really isn't the right word to have used here, this is clearly a dodgy translation from some other language, and it would help enormously to know what that might be, in case back-translation might help!
"For God Sake!!"
And the most used...
"For F*** Sake!!"
Note that those are not a good sign:-)
