French term

communication synthétique

Non-PRO French to English Marketing
Less than a page of results with this expression on Google, and none of them has a context that makes the meaning clear. What on earth is communication synthétique? ("Les technologies multimédias simplifient votre communication interne et externe en la rendant plus synthétique, conviviale et intuitive.")

short and sweet

no problem with synthetique... we also use it in Italian a lot (and believe me both languages need it, as they are prone to long-windedness).
I would say that here it means "short", compact, "in a few words", brief.

I hope I have succeeded in giving you a hint

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "There's a whole lot of synthetics out there! After more research, I found examples of usage in just about all of the contexts offered. But I think Paola's right in this case: if you're going to brag about communications, brag about their good points. I'll probably use something like "snappy" or "punchy" to convey the meaning."

overall/comprehensive communication

How about...
Larousse gives overall as a translation of "synthétique". However, I think that this sounds a bit awkward in the sentence, so I would use the synonym "comprehensive" here.

agree Alexandra Hague : Comprehensive sounds good!

sympathique

Must be a Freudian slip. for "tout ce qui est conviviale et intuitive ne peut pas être synthétique" (à mon avis).

Si c'est vraiment synthétique, ce serait dans le sens de la synthèse empirique, à l'opposé de l'analytique.
C'est ce qui envisage la totalité.

Le Petit Robert dit: "certaines théories moderne - comme celles d'Einstein - sont synthétiques".

Je préfère Sympathique!

Just another idea

... by making it more global, user-friendly and intuitive.

although I think comprehensive, as mentioned above, would also work!

synthetic communication(vs, face-to-face )

That means a communication not face-to-face.
I remember a story "Machine stops" from many years ago when internet was known, it was desbcribing a world like internet all person was communicating via this" Machine" (a large screen in each house) no face-to-face communication, even A mother was caring her child (very artifically) on this,
That was certainly science-fiction but Idea is the same.
In below link that contorversy is explained :

Charles Thomas worries about the fate of face-to-face communication. Thomas, for one, is confident the growing reliance on cyberworlds and synthetic communication won’t replace the need for people to talk in person

concise communication

This is a common bit of communications jargon. Something which is "synthétique" (adjective of the noun "synthèse") just mean that it is a summarised, more concise, might be one way round it. Not quite the same thing as "comprehensive".

"Multimedia technology simplifies your in-house communication, making it more concise, inviting and intuitive. ")
