no problem with synthetique... we also use it in Italian a lot (and believe me both languages need it, as they are prone to long-windedness).
I would say that here it means "short", compact, "in a few words", brief.

Comment: "There's a whole lot of synthetics out there! After more research, I found examples of usage in just about all of the contexts offered. But I think Paola's right in this case: if you're going to brag about communications, brag about their good points. I'll probably use something like "snappy" or "punchy" to convey the meaning."

concise communication
This is a common bit of communications jargon. Something which is "synthétique" (adjective of the noun "synthèse") just mean that it is a summarised, more concise, might be one way round it. Not quite the same thing as "comprehensive".
