German term

Kapazitätsbelastung

German to English Bus/Financial Accounting direct debit
This term appears next to a code in a description of a computerized direct debit procedure:

Datum Kapazitätsbelastung

Unfortunately, there is no other mention of "Kapazitätsbelastung" in the text. Does anyone know to what this could refer?

Thanks in advance!

Could that be a fee for... .. a kind of unused capacity. Maybe they block X hundred seats on a Mallorca shuttle or other route and then return the unsold seats to last minute channels Y days before departure. So there *MAY* be a fee involved in used capacity only for the blocking of that.
Best way would ask the customer if this Kapazitätsbelastung has something to do with capacity/contingent blocking.

Sorry for that I couldn´t help you out completely.
Sarah Bessioud (asker) Jan 19, 2012:
@ dkfmmuc The system concerns direct debits between tour operators (payment of products/services provided by other tour operators). The document does mention data storage (compilation of data to be shared with all tour operators concerned) but I do not believe this is the capacity in question here.
dkfmmuc Jan 19, 2012:
Which type of company has made the direct debit ? This may help us to understand the payment. It *COULD* be that Kapazitätsbelastung is an item charged by a provide of memory space or cloud exactly for providing this "storage place" for data. But if it´s no IT company I am also clueless.

debit charge

And for Lastschriftverfahren Belastungsdatum I would suggest 'direct debit date'.

Not sure where "Kapazität" comes into play here (I tend to think that "Belastungsdatum" is meant here).

Thanks for your added note, which leaves me somewhat clueless, though...
Note from asker:
Thank you Steffen. The "Kapazität" is the part that is bothering me in fact. Just beneath this, I have "Lastschriftverfahren Belastungsdatum", which leads me to think that "Kapazität" is indeed important.
