It's interesting how people find collaborators (subcontractors). I've been a subcontractor and I'm happy with the experience. For me it'll be nice to expand my network with perspective of effective collaboration.

I would like to know how to build a reliable pool of translators for subcontracting out some of my overflow work. How do I handle the payments to them? Is there any way to do this without setting up a formal agency? Is it permissible to offer referral fees to other translators who send work my way?

I have been in situations where I could not take an interesting and big project for lack of time. I would like to be able to accept some of this projects by collaborating with others.

As I am just starting out as a translator, I would like to know if some people would be interested in collaboration as a way for me to gain experience and for them to help with workflow.

I'm interested in collaboration with experienced colleagues to find a tutor for myself and help them with overflow work.

Translator's collaboration may be best for the global business, and it give us opportunity to make good business.

I'd like to know how to pay to subcontracted translators?

Sometimes big projects come with lack of time, and collaboration with fellow translators are a handy solution. I would like to know more about how this works both practically and technically.

How to win a job announced by a good American/English agency for freelancers? What are the key items a freelancer must have for top Agencies?

I think there should be a platform where screened translators log in and start translating when they have time and stop when they want while other translators continue with the work. It would be a win-win situation. There should be a series of TMs used in this platforrm with a gradual importance, which should be adjustable. This plattform should have also some connexion with an authors platform. Just to promote the collective intelligence.

Like others here, I'm interested in knowing if there is an established way for freelancers to make contact and arrange to collaborate on big jobs with short timeframes.

many thanks for this great group.
