Bio:I was born in El Salvador, but I consider myself to be from the Americas in the full extent of the word.
I have traveled the whole continent, lived in the United States during different periods of my life and I am very familiar with U.S culture and Lingo. As well as wi...th most of the dialects we use in Latin America.
I discovered my love for Linguistics about 15 years ago and since then, I have been working towards learning how to make a better usage of the two languages I command better. I am an avid reader with a voracious appetite for knowledge, and that has made Translation my choice of work. I enjoy the challenge of learning about some specific topic so I can make good translations about it.
My initial formation in Electricity and then Electronics, and my working in the fields, gives me a broad expertise in engineering matters in general. Then my studies and work as Business Administrator help me in all matters concerning the fields related (marketing, financing, accounting etc). I have worked extensively in different topics (Agriculture, Civil Society, Development, Gender) for NGO,s both pro-bono and as in-house translator.
And for the past couple of years I've been involved in the design, compiling and editing of a Spanish - English / English-Spanish Dictionnary .
I am a science buff, amateur astronomer and poor Chess player, so this topics are also part of my bag of tricks.
