Description Fishing industry including aquaculture provides employment to over 500 million people globally. It is also a stable source of potential job opportunities for translators. With growing fishing industry and international trade of fish products the involvement of translators whose services are constantly required in different sectors of this industry also increases. This webinar is an updated version of the webinar "Translating for Fishing Industry". In this webinar, the trainer who has more than 30 years of experience in fishery translation will provide an overview of modern trends in fisheries and aquaculture and their significance for translators. The skills and tools required for a good fishery translator will be discussed. The trainer will speak about the modern-day terminology challenges of a fishery translator and how to deal with them. The potential clients and how to be connected with them will be discussed. Target audience This session can be interesting and useful to those who are making their first steps in fishery translation but also to those who specialize in fishery transaltion but understand the value of learning from others' experience.
