Vera Gordienko . I started using this tool about 2 years ago and consider myself very lucky to have found it. It is very practical and easy to use. Dictionaries present information from various sources. Machine translation options are very decent and can be helpful at times. Group translation option is perfect for those working on a large document - as many translator and editors can work on different parts of the same document and have the final product ready in a fast and efficient way.
SmartCAT is free for translators, which is great :) However, you need to have a stable internet connection to work in the cloud without interruption. All in all - I would definitely recommend this system to any translator. It is a really smart tool.

r136a1 . SmartCAT was surprisingly clear and easy-to-learn tool. Perhaps this is the only cloud-based solution that can completely replace the usual CAT-program. And in regard to working with PDF, SmartCAT simply has no equal.

SmartCAT is free, cloud, easy to use. Also you can get jobs there. I can't imagine how i could live without it before.
I'd like to recommend SmartCAT to everybody (to translators, students, teachers and other professionals).

Sunastasiya . I've found out that ABBYY made this CAT tool free and immediately started to use it, it's great, but the one thing I need is a possibility to add not only sentenses but words and phrases. It's very easy to use. I use it online.

ekiriliuk . In my opinion, the SamrtCAT is the best tool that I have ever worked with. Today I really can't imagine my everyday freelance work without it. I like to work with it because of some reasons:
1. accessibility (I can work with my projects anywhere thanks to the cloud platform)
2. perfect functionality (possibility to work with dictionaries, glossaries, create projects etc.)
3. user-friendly and modern interface (what is especially important for beginners)
I strongly believe that possibilities that SmartCAT gives to the translators are boundless that's why I'm happy to find something new in SmartCAT
