Barb Sandre . I agree with all the others on how easy Fluency is to learn, how you can do everything with it, that you can do with all the other translation programs, but what no one has mentioned is how FABULOUS their SERVICE is. These guys have sat up and help my hand on many an occasion, e.g. Easter Sunday at 11 pm, etc. They answer your support requests within minutes, not days; they do whatever is required to get you back up and running. Sod's law, something goes wrong when you can least afford it to and the deadline is looming. They have never let me down. And that's what counts as far as I am concerned.

How easy is it to learn?
Not for English into Japanese Translation
Review by
Daisuke Shimizu . I purchased the product for my English into Japanese translation work. As I use it, I found that the Japanese letters overlap each other (words appear on the top of other words), and it is hard to fix this issue. I do not have this issue with SDL Trados 2014. This product is not for Japanese translators.

I am amazed at the excellent response on your customer service, the product is excellent and the service also, what else can you ask for? Would they do my translations for me?

Francisco Herrerias . I found an offer in Proz about this superb software, most intuitive, easy to learn, easy to customize. The double window showing the source and the target documents is amazingly useful. I recommend this product not with my eyes closed but very well opened. Thanks guys for this excellent peace of software and for your also excellent customer service.

Love the ease of use and customer support
Review by
Carmen Saenz . Compared to other CAT tools, Fluency is extremely easy to use. You can view the source document and your working file side by side. Terminology searches can be conducted without leaving the document. Enables you to accept files submitted in different formats, work on them using Fluency, then return in the original format received. Absolutely the BEST customer support staff ever! Twice I had problems with files, contacted the support team, received an immediate response. Not only did they correct the problem and emailed back the file within the hour each time, but came out with a patch to fix the glitches almost immediately. Fluency is very cost effective and the product is constantly being improved, allowing for free updates. I highly recommend this CAT tool for translators.

How easy is it to learn?
Fastest and most intuitive tool
Review by
Renata von Koerber . Fluency is extremely important to me, as I love the intuitive layout, the fast references to my TM, Gloss, and certain useful sites (the choice is good enough for me!).
I translate large volume legal, finance and technical translations, and a good share of the jobs are rush jobs.
Trados requires too many keystrokes to get to the desired result.
Admittedly, anything with complex formatting needs to run through Trados, but I can export a compatible file from Fluency, and hey presto, it is done. I have one copy on my MacBook Air, where (with the help of a Mac-savvy friend) it runs like a charm. I am thinking of getting the LSP version, so I can connect with co-workers, I just do not have the turnover for that YET.
Last not least, I like the prompt replies and troubleshooting help from all the developers and salespeople who do not growl when being asked the same q´twice, admit that there´s a bug if that´s the reason for something which does not work properly, an of course, my heart beats for the prospect of a MAC-Fluency.
