FX Torrentz . Thanks to Fluency I am able to focus on what matters most: translating. I own other tools and all have their strengths, yet, in my opinion, Fluency is by far the most intuitive and easy to use interface out there. Whether you are new to CAT tools and you’re not sure which software to opt for, or if you’re a seasoned translator seeking a better user experience, look no further.
I have had none of the stability issues that have been reported, even when working on very large files. In fact, I am a Mac user and I am running Fluency via Parallels 9 : it works quite smoothly. Those few experiencing issues might want to consider upgrading their memory. Mac users who don’t want to have to switch between two operating systems can also rejoice as a Mac-compatible version is in the works!
Finally, from a customer service perspective, the sales and support teams couldn’t be more responsive and courteous.

How easy is it to learn?

Ana Garza . Fluency is easy to learn. There are no extra steps for setting up a memory. You just click on the appropriate button in the Welcome Center, fill out the items in the Open dialog box, and start working. It also has useful dictionary and research tools, which are simple and convenient.
For those of you who prefer working with the keyboard or who use assistive technology, Fluency has a rich set of keyboard commands and works well with screen readers. In fact, it’s the only CAT tool I’ve used that is fully accessible. Other solutions have rudimentary accessibility, allowing blind translators limited access to the most routine aspects of a job. All parts of Fluency are available to blind translators, and Western Standard is very receptive to feedback concerning screen reader access.
If you want something easy, powerful, and ADA compliant, Fluency is the right CAT tool.

Cayla18 . It is really a great tool and I cannot understand why it isn't more widely known or used. It matches or exceeds all the other software on the market, but at at least half the price. It is compatible with Trados/Wordfast, etc. A dedicated team give one-to-one guidance and webinar tutorials and online help. They take as much time as is needed to help in solving problems or helping you understand how it all works.

Daniel Rodrigues . Fluency is an intuitive and user friendly CAT tool. It comes packed with helpful resources such as glossaries and machine translation. What I like most in Fluency is the simplicity, integrated environment, the number of compatible file formats, and the internet resources to aid the translation work.
The initial one-to-one online training gave me a quick start into the most important features of Fluency. In a matter of days, I became acquainted with key shortcuts and the most important menus for the usual translation tasks.

AnnaMaria1 . Fluency is extremely user-friendly and intuitive. It's a great tool for people with no CAT experience and also for seasoned CAT translators. I am so pleased with it that I am using it in my upper division Spanish class at my university this semester because I think it is vital for students to learn and this is an excellent first CAT software tool. The Fluency team has been great about support when I've had questions and has made classroom implementation so smooth.
