Kristiina McCabe was born in Tallinn, Estonia, and has been based in London since 1993. Kristiina is a highly qualified linguist with almost twenty years’ experience of working within both the public and private sectors, and her specialist skills range from translating and interpreting to outsourcing, editing, localization and language tuition.
Ms McCabe holds a teaching position at University College London, and her other engagements include attachments in various capacities to the European Commission and the Foreign and Commonwealth Offices, as well as project-based assignments to Bristol, Cambridge and Oxford Universities. Kristiina has a broad range of experience dealing with nuances of text, translation, and interpretation in Law, Banking and Commerce, and Copyright, and is particularly skilled in areas of communication and comprehension with regard to local markets and cross-cultural referencing.
