At our hospital, we take pertinent measures to see that all personal information is in safe hands. The regulations and policies listed below are known and strongly followed by all the executives, office workers, and staff at our hospital. 1. Accumulating, utilizing, and furnishing personal information: During any diagnosis we obtain only pertinent personal information taking into account the contents of which, we are obliged to protect this information, and provide this information only to the parties involved in the intervention. This policy is regularly observed at our hospital. 2. Safety measures and Education pertaining to personal information: Given the gravity of importance we place on protecting personal information, we implement that each staff member attends a training program. The program covers issues such as illegal access to personal information, destruction, falsification, and lost of information. We put this program into effect with the sole intent of preventing a problem, however in the case a problem does occur we will take quick counter-measures to resolve any obstruction. 3. Concerning the standard laws that surround personal information: We observe and keep the standard laws and ordinances that pertain to personal information. 4. Better Protection: At our hospital, by following the above we carry out a system, which maintains and preserves every patient’s personal information. My name is Nathan Miller. I was a Ministry of Education Scholar (文部省) for the Japanese Government. I have extensive experience translating JPN to ENG. I lived in Japan for nine years and recently relocated to Taiwan to be with my family.
