My native languages are English and Yoruba. I studied German as a foreign language at the Universities of Ibadan, Nigeria and Goettingen in Germay. I went on to major in German language and English studies at Frier university in Berlin.
I worked for Julius Berger, a German contruction company, translating official documents and memos. Proof-reading and editing training materials for local staffs. I also served in the same capacity as interpreter for staff members working with the Nigerian government.

On personal engagements, I assisted German exchange students with application for foreign studies in English speaking countries. Specifically, essays for scholarship consideration and evalutions. I also write personal book of poetry in both German and English. Over the years, I continued to read both German and Yoruba literatures. My favorite authors include Gunter Grass, Fredrich Durremert and Exuperier. Der Verdact and the German version of the Little Prince (Das Kleine Prinz) are my all time foreign literatures.

I travel as much as I am opportuned. I am very interested in different cultures, particularly African and West European cultures and love to devote a good portion of my travel to studying local cultures.
