Bio
i am a permanent resident of the United States of America. I am originally from a country where French and English are the official languages. My elementary and secondary school education were in English (as a subject of Her Majesty the Queen of England) and my higher and professional education (Law, Economics, Finance and public administration in French) and international business law in Englsh (See my Resume). During the long vacations of 1965 and 1966, I was recruited to work with a team of professional French and English linguists to translate the country's five-year economic developmen plan.

While I was serving for 20+ years as an executive official in the public service of this bilingual country, I used English and French depending on the language spoken by my boss, employee or member of the public. At times I translated documents or interpreted in case of need or wrote my reports in English or French (for instance management audit reports).

Since I retired from the public service in 1992, I have done a lot of freelance translation and interpretation work. Most of my clients are lawyers, law offices, immigration offices translation agencies, corporations or individuals.

Some of the main translation jobs undertaken are:
an economic document for a translation agency in Minnesota (about 20,000 words);
Accounting software document outsourced by a large translation company in South Carolina (DTS);
International business and investment agreement outsourced by a translation agency in New Jersey last year (about 9000 words);
