Source text - English The DETERMlNATOR™
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The DETERMlNATOR™ works by trapping larger tumblers and by passing smaller ones. A 4 depth cut in a key has a tumbler that is much larger than a 1 depth cut. The DETERMlNATOR™ is designed to trap the larger tumblers in the specially designed cut tip on the key. A small length of spring steel with a sloped end is inserted in the cut out portion of the DETERMlNATOR™ to release any trapped tumbler.
A) Shown at the right is a lock with various sized tumblers and a DETERMlNATOR™. As you can see the DETERMlNATOR™ will trap the tumblers with a 3 or 4 depth, but will allow the tumblers with a 1 or 2 depth to pass.
B) When the DETERMlNATOR™ traps a tumbler, look at the space number closest to the face of the lock. Here you can see space 6 is trapped, you know it is a 3 or 4 depth.
C) Use the release tool to raise the trapped tumbler and pull the DETERMlNATOR™ out until the next number is visible.
Record the depths and spaces and you will be ready to cut a key.
When cutting your first key you have two choices. The spaces that trapped you can cut as 3's and the spaces that passed you can cut as 1's. Since only a few cuts will be off only 1 depth, you can quickly impression them down. Your other choice is to cut a try-out key using ½ cuts. The spaces that trapped you will cut as 3 ½ depths and the spaces that passed you will cut as 1 ½ depths. Use this key as you would any other try-out key. Try both methods and see which works the best for you.

CATALOGUE 2000

FONCTIONNEMENT

Jacques Monod was noted for his contributions not only in his field of molecular biology, but also in philosophy. He was a close friend of the French philosopher, Albert Camus. Monod’s book, Chance and Necessity, published in 1970, concludes with these words:
… man at last knows that he is alone in the unfeeling immensity of the universe, out of which he emerged only by chance. Neither his destiny nor his duty have been written down. The kingdom above or the darkness below: it is for him to choose.
With Francois Jacob, Monod did much to elucidate the way in which genes regulate cell metabolism by directing the biosynthesis of enzymes. With Jacob and Andrew Lwoff, Monod was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology in 1965.
Jacques Monod died in mid-1976, aged 66. On 10 June 1976, the Australian Broadcasting Commission Science Unit broadcast a tribute to Monod which was entitled ‘The Secret of Life.’ The program concluded with an interview between Monod and one Laurie John in which, according to ABC compere Robyn Williams [himself an atheist and fanatical anti-creationist—Ed.], Monod talked about his belief ‘that life and evolution are without an ultimate purpose.’ His words should be pondered by those who wish to reconcile a belief in evolution with faith in God:

The Answer Book
Chapter 8
How did all the Different Races Arise?
Noah and his family were probably mid-brown, with genes for both dark and light skin, because a medium skin colour (dark enough to protect against skin cancer, yet light enough to allow vitamin D production) would be the most suitable in the world before the Flood.
(It is likely that there were then no harsh extremes of climate.) As all the factors for skin colour were present in Adam and Eve, they would most likely have been mid-brown as well. In fact, most of the world's population today is still mid-brown in colour.
After the Flood, for the few centuries until Babel, there was only one language and one culture group. Thus, there were no barriers to marriage within this group. This would tend to keep the skin colour of the population away from the extremes. Very dark and very light skin would appear, of course, but people tending in either direction would
be free to marry someone less dark or less light than themselves, ensuring that the average colour stayed roughly the same. The same would be true of other characteristics, not just skin colour. Under these sorts of circumstances, distinct racial lines will never emerge. This is true for animals as well as human populations, as every biologist knows. To obtain such separate lines, you would need to break a large
breeding group into smaller groups and keep them separate, that is, not interbreeding any more.

Chapitre 8.

1. Connect burner to control panel.
• The air and gas hose are color-coded blue and yellow respectively.
• The spark plug connector is color-coded red, the flame sensor connector is color-coded blue.
• The earth (ground) is supplied through the internal wire of the flex conduit. A secondary earth can be connected to the conduit bracket on the burner.
2. Place burner on filter bowl outlet as shown in Figure 1.
NOTE: The stainless steel plate at boot exit should be firm against the tunnel wall. Improper placement can result in aspiration of ambient air under the filter, resulting in improper preheat in the time allowed.
3. Check burner placement and removal method.
NOTE: Boot tube will be extremely hot after use. Develop a safe method to remove and store the burner without touching the boot tube. A lifting bracket can be fabricated or purchased for use with a jib hoist. This bracket must be flange mounted with fiber paper gaskets on both sides, between the burner and the boot.
4. Turn on plant air and gas isolation valves.
5. Energize the electrical isolation panel.
6. Open all of the air and gas ball valves on top of control panel.
7. Turn the “Cooling Air” switch to the off position.
8. Disengaged the E-STOP button.
9. Turn the “Burner” switch to the “Start” position.
• After a 15-second delay the airflow to burner should start.
• Set the air pressure to the factory settings for either 44kW or 58kW in Table 1. This is done with the red handle on the crane flow control valve.
• Gas flow will start automatically and burner will ignite 40 to 45 seconds after the airflow began.
• Set the gas pressure to the factory settings for either 44kW or 58kW in Table 1. This is done with the flow control knob on the DUNGS, MB-DLE solenoid valve.

Quemador de Precalentamiento
2.2 Quemador

Both ends of my pencil are well worn,
The hard one can spin many a tale,
The soft one prefers to forget.
They are opposite but friends.
The red one erases the debts of the past
Relying on the black one
For a future that will last.
The back end warns the one in front,
“Be careful my friend, from now on,

Faire un geste m’invitant à entrer.
Imagine …. un voyage sans fin.
