Bio
I am in the process of finishing my doctoral dissertation in French literature. I was born in Tehran, Iran and my parents are Iranian. When I was 10 years old, we moved to Switzerland and I was put in a public school. I learned French and German at the same time, and I had to learn Italian later on.

At the age of 14 we moved to Los Angeles, California where I continued my education at Le Lycee Francais de Los Angeles. I then went to UCSD and majored in French literature and minored in Creative Writing.

I went on to graduate school, to Brown University and I should finish my dissertation by December 2008.

I am currently looking for French teaching positions, but I have started to become more curious about translation and I am considering maybe going to a translation school.
