My qualifications: Bilingual education (Croatian-German), state-certified and officially sworn translator for Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian since 2001 (appointed by the District Court of Augsburg), member of BDÜ. 

Professional education:

University degree M.A. in South slavic languages (Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Slovenian, Bulgarian), Russian and Journalism, University of Leipzig, Germany

Postgraduate studies, Master for media and intercultural communication (Master of Arts) at the Southeastern European Media Centre (SOEMZ), St. Kliment Ohridski University, Sofia, Bulgaria (German and Bulgarian diploma)

Mayor course assessment in cultural tourism and event management, distance studies at Fernuniversität Hagen, Germany

3-years Commercial business training (automotive, car brench), 
University-entrance diploma (Abitur) with main focus on economics.

Several advanced trainings, e.g. "How to translate documents?", "Translating for notaries" (organized by BDÜ) 

Working experience:
More than twenty years experience as a translator! I have eleven years professional work and study experience abroad (Croatia, Russia, Slovenia, Bulgaria), e.g. I worked 4 years as an editor for the german newspaper Moskauer Deutsche Zeitung (Moscow German Newspaper) in Moscow; from 2005 to 2011 I was mostely based in Zagreb, Croatia, where I work as a freelance journalist for different German media (radio, tv, print) and as well as a translator. 

Other experience:
I have written and updated several tour-guides (Russia, Croatia, Slovenia, Balkans, Night trains - in German language).
