Bio
I love language in all of its forms-- written, spoken, read, heard, in poetry, in descriptions, in adjectives and in mental wanderings. It is through language that we can provide a bridge for thought and for communication with other people. Language is conscious, unconscious, spontaneous, direct, volatile, and so many more things at once. It is a finite number of words for an infinite number of combinations.

I studied Speech and Language Pathology and I have also been certified in bilingual education in New York City, and I have lived in a different country in each of my decades, allowing me to become familiar with the cultural aspects of each of my language pairs. I have a studies in Journalism as well.

Born and raised in Chile, I was lucky to be part of a bilingual, bicultural family, while at the same time being exposed to a multitude of cultures and languages through my education. I have spoken and thought in both English and Spanish throughout all of my life, and find it most comfortable when I can use both languages as each one has special words and uses that may be better for different situations.

When it comes to translating, I do it with joy and with a smile because it permits me to do many of the things i love: learn different things, practice my languages, work with others in a team, work independently from home and stretch my creative problem solving skills. You will find that my translations are well done, with an attention to detail and a true "happy touch." I do not accept jobs that I wont be able to complete, and I am adamant about punctuality as well.
