Nov 2013 – Sep 2017 International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) in Sarajevo
Position: Project/Language Assistant in Training Department
Job description: Organization, processing and completion of all administrative work regarding specific training sessions, from defining training needs with ICITAP Advisor requesting training to preparing the letters of invitation of participants, calculating accommodation costs, preparing training materials (including written translation and consecutive translation during the session if needed), completing all post-training documents and similar.
In addition, I have been engaged in translation (written and consecutive) of courses developed by FBI, CMSE and OPDAT (US Embassy Programs) and organized by ICITAP.

Position: Personal/Language Assistant
Job description: I was responsible for assisting ICITAP Advisors with day-to-day language and administrative needs, which included the following:
Providing translation and oral interpretation from Bosnian (Serbian/Croatian) into English and vice-versa for the office, including translation of laws and regulations, meeting minutes, reports, manuals, newspapers articles, correspondence and any other written documents, as well as consecutive interpreting during meetings and various courses organized by ICITAP, such as USMS Witness Protection and Security Course; FBI’s Hostage Negotiation Course; ATF’s Post Bomb Blast Investigation Course; I2 Analyst Notebook Course and Tactical Intelligence Analysis Course; Interview and Interrogation Utilizing Body Language; Decoding and Analyzing Body Language; Basic Investigation Techniques; Sex Crimes Investigations, etc.
In addition, I worked on the Standardized Police Report Writing Project for the local law enforcement agencies and BiH Border Police, as well as on establishing a database for the Crime Intelligence Service (4x4 system), the Cantonal Court and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo. I am very familiar with the law-enforcement and judicial system in BiH.
