I am a professional freelance translator.

My language pairs are Dutch-English, French-English and German-English.

I have an undergraduate and Masters degree in translation and interpreting.

I also have 30 years of professional experience as an in-house and freelance translator in a wide range of subject areas.

I use a variety of CAT tools, including Trados Studio Professional 2021 and MemoQ.

I maintain subject-specific termbases and translation memories to improve accuracy.

I use third-party tools for Quality Assessment of my translations (in addition to CAT tool-specific QA tools) and proofread my work carefully before submission.

I have worked for a large number of international translation agencies and private companies.
