Bio
I grew up in both Japan and the US. I learned kanji from my American father, who is also a translator, and English from my Japanese mother, who was an English teacher. Thanks to my upbringing, I am fluent and without an accent in both Japanese and English. I currently teach English in elementary schools in Tochigi. I am studying to improve my Japanese so that I can work full-time as a translator after my teaching contract ends.

I have passed level 1 of the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), and am currently studying for level 3 of the Nihongo Kentei.
