My exerience is in a variety of different fields including medical. legal, finance, insurance, technology and agriculture. I have extensive experience in the following topics: diabetic teaching, lactation, nutrition, employee manuals for various types of employers, agricultural safety training for compliance with OSHA standards. I provide translation and onsite interpretation as well as transcription.

I am a native speaker of both English and Spanish. I was raised in the United States and schooled in Mexico. I have specialized training in the following areas: Insurance and Finance Terminology, Medical, and Legal Terminology.

Literary translation: I have been working closely with an author from Mexico who writes poetry and novels. We have completed two projects wich are now in the process of being published.

Language proficiency assessments: For five years I have worked as a test administrator and as a co-creater of language proficiency assessments for both English and Spanish as well as interpretation skills assessments. The language proficiency assessments implemented focus on: proficiency, enunciation, vocabulary, register, grammar and syntax.

Interpretation skills assessment focus on: Clarity of expression, terminology, retention, note taking technique, meaning, resourcefulness, accuracy, factual data.
