Heidi began her translation and interpreting career while studying in England. After finishing Masters in English/Chinese translation studies in Edinburgh University in the UK, Heidi began to translate press release of American Business Wire (http://www.businesswirechina.com) for Interfax News Agent.

In 2009, Heidi joined CLS communications (acquired by Lionbridge Solutions in 2014) as a financial translator. With the professional knowledge from previous working experiences and Bachelor degree in accounting and Master degree in business and management, Heidi has translated thousands of financial, audit and annual reports for famous companies like Ernst & Young, IBM, KKR Private Equity Investors, General Cable, etc.

As a legal translator, Heidi assisted Beijing Supreme People’s Court, Beijing Intermediate People’s Court and Beijing District Court to serve international summons and translated civil lawsuit documents related with foreigners. In 2014, Heidi assisted Beijing Municipal People’s Procuratorate to investigate a big foreign related anti-corruption case.

In 2009 and 2010, Heidi translated two English magazines “Green Herald: Green Evolution of Chinese Enterprises”(http://www.daonong.com/g/2010en/& http://www.daonong.com/g/2009en/), which were published in China.

In 2014, Heidi established her own business “Wang Qing Translation Company Limited” in Beijing. The Company assisted Suncent Medical, an American leading medical instrument company to register a new Spinal Care medical instrument from North America in China. The Company translated and prepared subtitle for the video of the medical instrument - IDD Therapy® Treatment on Accu–SPINA® system (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JV0LyAWXtg).

In 2005, Heidi immigrated to the Great Toronto Area, Canada to expand her professional skills and translation business in North America.

In 2011, a bilingual book “A Short History of Great Britain for Speakers of Chinese” was jointly translated by Qing Wang and Yuanwang Hu and published in the UK.

在英国留学期间Heidi为英国市政厅做翻译。在英国爱丁堡大学攻读了中英翻译硕士后，Heidi为电讯文传通讯社翻译美国商业新闻。
2009年，Heidi加入全球十大翻译公司瑞译通公司，成为一名财经翻译。得益于以往的工作经验，及攻读会计学士和企业管理硕士期间积累的专业知识，Heidi为许多著名公司（如安永、IBM、KKR等）翻译了大量会计、审计、年度报告。
2010年起，Heidi协助北京高等法院、中级法院及各地区法院进行涉外诉讼的送达，翻译涉外民事案件的资料。2014年，Heidi协助北京市检察院进行涉外反腐案件的调查诉讼翻译。
2014年，Heidi在北京创建望清翻译服务有限公司，帮助医疗器械公司将美国
先进医疗设备引入中国。2015年，Heidi移居北美发展。
