Janel has been acting since age 6 on Broadway in Les Miserables and she has starred in many TV shows such as The OC and The Bernie Mac Show. To add to her already flourishing acting career, Janel just signed with Geffen Records. She wrote and performs the song, Rainy Days; which is on the Bratz soundtrack. Don't miss her music video at the end of the movie!
In between her busy schedule, Janel stopped by to visit the YMI offices for a fun-filled day of denim shopping. She stocked up on all the hottest styles from YMI Jeans and made sure to snag her favorites.

I did some acting work in Los Angeles, such as an independent movie with Minnie Driver, and I dubbed into Spanish the role of Taylor Forrester in The Bold and The Beautiful. I'm therefore very familiar with show-business lexicon.
I'm now a Spanish Certified Court Interpreter for the State of California and the Federal Courts, and I also work in civil matters, doing depositions and trials.
