My name is Gaines Post. I am an experienced Chinese-to-English translator, and have also done a great deal of English writing, reviewing, proofreading, and editing work.
Born and raised in the United States, I am a native English-speaker currently residing in Australia. I am fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin), and have eighteen years of experience translating documents from Chinese into English. I've a good deal of experience working in the MMO game translation & localization field, and have been the chief translator for a Buddhist church for several years. In addition, I have translated novels, blogs, news articles, and many other sorts of documents over the years.
I am also a writer myself, and have written a novel and published several short stories. MI believe my creative writing skills help me to produce quality translations, and my good grammar and attention to detail make me a decent editor.
