Source text - English Quiero, ante todo, daros la bienvenida a esta nueva página de la Asociación de Veteranos de la UOE. Como muchos sabéis hemos trabajado duro, muy duro desde hace algún tiempo y hoy vamos viendo los frutos de nuestra cosecha .
Hemos pasado momentos buenos y malos, pero de eso se trata el juego de la vida, hasta conseguir el objetivo propuesto. Nos propusimos sacar adelante una asociación donde pudieran estar los que servimos en la UOE, y los que nos quieren y admiran. Lo hemos conseguido y aquí estamos, sin dar un paso atrás como nos enseñaron, seguimos avanzando en nuestro propósito.
Translation - Spanish Above all, I want to welcome you to this new page of the Association of Veterans of the U.O.E. As many of you know we have worked hard, very hard for some time and today we see the fruit of our work.
We have had good and bad times until we achieved the goal we set ourselves, but that it is the game of life. Our intention was to make an association where those that served in UOE and those that love and admire us, could come together. We have achieved this and here we are, continuing to advance towards our goal, without taking a step backwards, as they taught us.

A friendly and outgoing person, I derive satisfaction from pushing forward to achieve objectives. I am thorough and dependable in my work.
I have 20 years experience of the English language, both academically and practically as part of my everyday life (at work, with the family, socially, etc.). I have also assimilated the English culture in both the social and business sense which is an invaluable tool when working as a translator or interpreter.
I live in Spain, but there is a thriving English community where I live and my contact with English speaking people is constant, apart from having an English wife and a daughter who speak perfect English. Everyone I meet congratulate me on my English, some have even been surprised to find that I am Spanish and I have even been told (by an official translator) that I could be considered to be bilingual .
