Bio
I am a professional translator and copy writer for more than 28 years, beginning as a newspaper translator in Hong Kong in 1985, continuing until today working as a free-lance translator/copy writer for translation houses.
I had taken a wide range of university courses while working full-time as a translator/editor. These courses included Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, Business, Finance, Law and computer software and hardware. As a professional translator, I knew I needed to broaden my professional knowledge in as varied fields as possible.
I have a BA and a MA in English degree and a BBA in Computer Information Systems, all granted by the City University of New York. I was certified as a Java Programmer and a Sun Web Component Developer by Sun Microsystems in 2003 and 2008 respectively. Experienced in translation and software programming and development, I can write and translate texts for websites.
