The proximal and distal baskets of xx Filter, which consist of struts in a six diamond shape configuration, are designed for optimal clot capture. The baskets are connected by six straight struts which contain a proximal and distal hook designed for fixation of xxx Filter to the vessel wall (Figure 1).
