I am not, nor ever have been, a full-time translator. I am a fll-time professional musician.
BUT...I lived in Romania from 1996 to 2005 and, not only during that time, but since having moved abroad, have translated and edited many, many books, articles, etc., originally written in Romanian and destined for publication in English. Much of my translation has been for the Romanian Cultural Institute [ICR] [formerly Foundation (FCR)], the Romanian Academy, the Romanian Composers' and Musicologists' Union [UCMR], and Romanian National Radio. I have also worked for Editura RAO and other private concerns.
