English to Spanish: Practice of Law
Source text - English Practice of law is typically overseen by either a government organization or independent regulating body such as a bar association, bar council, barrister society, or law society. To practice law, the regulating body must certify the practitioner. This usually entails a two or three-year program at a university faculty of law or a law school, which earns the student a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Civil Law or a Juris Doctor degree. This course of study is followed by an entrance examination. Some countries require a further vocational qualification before a person is permitted to practice law.

Bio
I work full-time as a freelance translator from my own home office. I was born in Argentina and visited different Latin American countries in my life. Therefore, I experienced the many nuances of the Spanish language. This, together with my years of work, education and cultural experiences have given me unique insight into LATAM Spanish, which I apply to all my translation specialty areas.
I work with a variety of translation agencies in North and South America which keep me busy, but I am always open to discuss additional agreements with new agencies.
I am a professional member of the translator network ProZ.com.
I started my career translating in the legal and healthcare fields. Later on, I specialized in audiovisual translation and worked creating and QCing subtitles and localizing games. Today, I enjoy working in all these fields. They keep me busy and give me a great pleasure!
