Ibrahim Mahmoud Ibrahim is Translation & Copywriting Assistant Manager at Promoseven Weber Shandwick, a position he has held since January 2007.
Part of his role involves developing media analysis reports on a monthly and weekly basis in the banking, securities, telecom, petroleum, and real estate sectors as well as highlighting SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and developing recommendations. He also manages a team and supervises translation of press releases and subsequent press kit materials, as well as writing press materials in Arabic for the media.
Previous to his position he worked as a translator/interpreter; proofreading and editing all types of documents in addition to shouldering import and export responsibilities. Moreover, he has experience in localizing websites in different fields and has been the professional interpreter of more than 40 local, regional and international conferences and events for different sectors. Mr. Ibrahim’s most prominent translation works are the Due Diligence and Corporate Governance by Dr. Linda S. Spedding, and the year book of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
Mr. Ibrahim graduated from Menufia University 1999 with a BA in Arts. He also obtained a high diploma in translation at Cairo University and holds a Professional Certificate of Simultaneous Interpreting from the American University in Cairo. |
