My name is Francisco Javier Gómez-Sanz, and I have been a translator and localizer since 1992, when I was hired by Microsoft Corp to work as a Spanish localizer in Redmond (WA). I specialize in Software localization, Electronics and Hardware, Videogames, Photography, Biology and Medicine translations.
I have got a degree in Biological Sciences, as well as a Master in Microcomputers and some other qualifications. However, my curiosity did not end there and I have acquired also some formal education on Philosophy and, currently, on East Asia languages and cultures.
I have experienced the translation industry both from the companies and from the freelancers’ point of view, so I know well how important reliability, quality and promptness are in this profession.
I have worked for companies like Lionbridge, Translation Back Office, Academy Translations, Celer Pawlowsky, Logoscript, Celer Soluciones, International Software Products, ITP Europe, etc.
