At the end of 2005 I started my professional career as a freelance translator in the language pairs English>Italian and German>Italian for translation agencies and private clients, after 3 years activity as an employee in the translation field. My translation activity is mainly focused on the localization of software applications, Web sites, online helps, consumer electronics manuals and product data sheets. The application programs and support tools I own allow me to easily and efficiently localize virtually any kind of text and format. Particularly, I gathered a long experience in the use of some of the leading computer assisted translation tools (CAT tools).
Furthermore, I specialized also in the translation of marketing material and technical and scientifical projects of various kinds.
My experience as an in-house translator and project manager allowed me to gain a deep insight in the language production processes throughout the different supply chain steps, from the initial quote to the final product delivery. I developed valued organization skills and I took part in important decision-making processes, with a strong commitment in meeting defined aims and goals, guaranteeing overall quality, solving issues and problems in an efficient, reliable and timely manner and above all satisfying the expectations of all parties involved. These skills and features continue to distinguish my professional approach.
