Mosammat Fatema Johara, identified by Farmer ID Sh00068, is a 34-year-old female farmer from the
village of Gorakghata in the Choto Moheshkhali Union, within the Moheskhali Upazila of the Cox's
Bazar district. Married to Mahabub Alam and daughter of Anzuman Ara Begum, Fatema is actively
involved in shrimp nursery and grow-out culture, managing a 25-decimal intervention area. She has been
participating in the Artemia4Bangladesh project for the past two years, during which she has received
training in shrimp nursery and grow-out techniques, improved marine aquaculture, and gender awareness.
She is a member of the Choto Moheshkhali Artemia and Aquaculture cluster. As a result of his skilled
development and devotion to the aquaculture industry, She produced 8500 pieces of shrimp juveniles in
her nursery ponds, 51 kg of adult shrimp from her grow-out ponds in 2023, and 352 kg of tilapia
respectively. Fatema is part of a concerted effort to advance sustainable Aquaculture practices in her
