Bio
I am a trilingual translator with the ES<>EN and IT<>EN language pairs who has an MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies and two BAs in Spanish and Italian from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The main fields I would like to focus on are the videogame localization, subtitling and renewable translation fields, but I am also open to trying out new fields in general to see what I may enjoy as I continue on my translation journey. I have some experience with transcription translation, proofreading and editing, as well as timestamp creation within transcriptions due to working as a research internship for the NEH-supported project "Memory and History: Transforming the Narrative of the Spanish Civil War and Francoist Dictatorship". I haven't been on my professional translation journey for long, but I am eager to try my hand at different types of translation in order to expand my professional repertoire and grow as a translator overall.
