I am Novian Cahyadi, a certified freelance Indonesian subtitler. I’ve been dedicating myself to this profession since August 2020. English is the source language I translate from, although I provide monolingual subtitles in Indonesian as well.

My portfolio includes subtitling projects for major American streaming services and production houses. Aside from entertainment industry, I also collaborated with international businesses to work on their corporate video content.

To support audiovisual translation training and research, I decided to join the European Association for Studies in Screen Translation (ESIST) in July 2022. And I’m still a member to this date.

On a side note, I have been using Linux as my main desktop operating system since 2021. Fedora Workstation is my distro of choice, which has proven itself to be reliable for my professional demands.
