I worked for 21 years as a French-English Translator at the Nuclear Research Centre at Kalpakkam. At this Research Centre the main focus was on the construction of a Fast Reactor based on the French Technology.
I was involved in the translation of Technical and Scientific documents on matter as diverse as Metallurgy,Reactor Physics, Radiochemistry, Waste Management and Fuel Reprocessing.
I translated from French the AFNOR standards pertaining to Industrial equipment etc.
I translated technical articles from journals like Revue de Metallurgy, Annals de Chimie, Acta Metallurgica.
I worked for 3 years with an Indian company having a collaboration with a French company for the manufacture of Metallic Pallets.
I worked for 9 years with a French Multi-National Company viz. M/s.Saint-Gobain Glass India which has set up a 2 Float Glass plants in India.
I have recently retired from the above organization
II am also on the panel of translator of M/s. Hyderabad Translation Bureau for whom I have translated more than 3000 pages of technical documents. One of the major projects done by me was a 600 page document for the GEC Alsthom's Gas Turbine Project in India.
I have translated a lot of French patents into English.

I have worked as an interpreter in France and Belgium and am computer literate and have all the latest equipment (computer, scanners, software, etc.) for speedy and efficient translation jobs.
I am a degree holder in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) followed with a degree in Law with a Diploma in French and a certificate in German.
