Bio
I am a freelance interpreter/translator with over 29 years of professional experience. I am an American-born native Hmong speaker. My first language is Hmong and I entered public school knowing only Hmong and learned English at school. I am proficient in both English and Hmong. My level of competency in both languages are equally comparable and superior according to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).This has served my community for many years in the various positions in the public sector that I held. I have been sought out by many private entities for translation and/or interpreting jobs. My professionalism and detail to accurate information, sensitivity and knowledge of cultural norms and practices are essential to my core beliefs.
