I am an experienced translator with over 30 years experience in Hausa translation and interpretation to and from English, accumulated through my learning, teaching and public service experience.  

I started my career as a local teacher with most of the teaching conducted in Hausa and English and subsequently I was engaged as a secondary School teacher. I'm a native Hausa speaker and equally studied Hausa and English at primary, secondary and tertiary institutions level. 

I also provide research assistantship services in the fields of Hausa culture, literature, and language.

I previously served as a lecturer in Sa'adatu Rimi College of Education now a Federal University of education after my first degree, and subsequently obtained my PhD degree. I am a bookworm and actively take pleasure in reading Hausa and English books.
