Bio
I am a native English speaking professional with 12 years of teaching experience, professional translator and teacher trainer. Throughout the world English is the unifying language that overcomes communication barriers. Thus there is an ongoing need for ELT professionals who have subscribed to, or are undergoing professional development programs. It is a well known fact that as a result of their professional experience, only Universities in the United Kingdom can provide these qualifications. By reason I decided to reenroll in a higher education institution validated by the United Kingdom.

This has enabled me to add new dimensions to my teaching, create, design and develop new strategies, and above all, try out more flexible teaching methods. The choices I made were based on the fact that training is very different to teaching: teaching is in many ways a -performance art and a skill- though obviously not without its academic and reflective sides. Training is less about performance and more about understanding the potential of untrained and /or inexperienced facilitators, trainers or instructors and working on the triangular relationship between trainer-teacher-students. In other words, it is all about people.

I have just concluded the ADVANCED CERTIFICATE TESOL (180 hours) and the Becoming a Teacher Trainer (200), both moderated and validated by Trinity College London. I plan to move up towards a MA in TESOL and specialize in Teacher Training.
