Growing up, I was an immigrant and had to flew to Iran. Here, I was exposed to a different language. This, combined with a natural love of and talent for languages, allowed me to pick up and attain fluency in a few of them. I would develop and expand this ability even further throughout my education and working career. The nuances of language fascinate me, and to be able to have work that allows me to explore them and marinate in them each and every day would be a true pleasure and a privilege. I received a bachelor's degree in English Languages from University of Duhok, and I graduated with honors. Soon after this, I received a decent offer from the university to be working as a research assistant. This, however, was not my first professional work experience. With a passion for languages and skills I started translating/interpreting jobs as a freelancer and have fulfilled this role in quite a number of organizations and companies. This is currently ongoing, whether it is translating articles, legal documents, marketing materials, or spontaneous interpretations. I am also able to speak clearly and effectively and write tight and readable prose. In addition to that, I am skilled in providing linguistic assistance and support to government officials and maintaining exceptional client experience and satisfaction. Throughout the years, I have demonstrated numerous times that I am a results-oriented professional with exceptional organizational and time management skills. Eventually, I am a native Kurdish speaker with professional proficiency in English, Persian/Farsi, and a basic knowledge of Arabic.
