Certified Translator and computational linguist, passionate about words and their contextual meaning. His speciality arranges from text analysis to translation and software localisation.

Chakir works as an analytical linguist, contributing to projects around language science. Since 2017, he is a member of COST Open Call for proposals open to linguist researchers, computer scientists collaborating in a field of science and technology of common interest to COST. Past experiences include a cooperation with Samsung R&D, UK, where he worked as a knowledge representation and participated in the development of an AI application for smartphones and smart TVs.
