Bio

I am a native bilingual English/Spanish speaker with a Master's degree in translation studies. During my graduate coursework, I took courses on scientific/technical translation and legal translation. My most significant translation project to date has been the translation from English to Spanish of a nonfiction book about caring for a newborn infant. My Master’s thesis examined multilingual audiovisual translation, specifically the dubbing practices for an invented language. I have demonstrated excellent writing skills through my academic writing in both English and Spanish; I also have an MFA in creative writing and have written fiction in Spanish and English.
