I am a dedicated and professional American Sign Language interpreter serving the Deaf community in the Baltimore/Washington area. My experience in the field, as both an on-site and virtual interpreter, spans across a variety of settings such as (but not limited to): governmental, social, medical, administrative, and educational interpreting. My knowledge of ASL and Deaf Culture stems from my educational background as a Political Science and Deaf Studies student at Towson University and my upbringing as a CODA. As an interpreter I place the upmost importance on participating in trainings/workshops as often as possible to expand my knowledge along with actively seeking feedback from colleagues on any teamed assignment. |
