I'm a native speaker of Polish with an interest in learning and mastering English since as long as I can remember. I'm currently moving on to my third year of English studies at university with a consistent 4.7+ GPA and a CPE certificate. While I am definitely still starting out in the realm of transations and related services, I'm eager to sharpen my skills and broaden my area of expertise.

The largest project and one I'm most proud of contributing to is working as a volunteer on the Polish localization of PAYDAY 2, a rather popular video game. I localize the game text itself, as well as the vast majority of new announcements, store pages and websites related to the game. I also provide proofreading and quality assurance for the original English texts.

I can confidently claim at least a modest level of expertise in both video game and marketing-related translations.

I have also worked on a number of smaller, personal projects for assorted acquaintances, ranging from editing software instruction booklets to translating doomsday prepping guides. I'm proficient at researching new fields in order to provide accurate translations.

I do not provide complex legal, medical or technical translations. I strive for quality of translations, but I'm afraid I cannot guarantee it in these particularly sensitive fields unless the subject matter is relatively simple to grasp.

I see this line of work as both a source of personal fulfillment and professional development. I offer nothing less than my best efforts in any project I participate in.
